most offices are 6-2 at the moment.
what will most offices times be in 2 years?

The world's going to end in 2012 so I'm not too worried :wink: I know I've seen the film :nervous

Seriously though, 9-5 will create problems for RM, as a reserve I don't know what my day off is ever going to be before the preceding Saturday so I would book doctors, dentists, hospital etc. appointments for late afternoon but RM would then have to give us time off for these appointments.
I'm preparing myself for the zombie invasion, rule number 1 - Cardio

With the sequencing machines i can see 7-3pm. 9-5 well maybe one day, who would have thought you would be out on delivery when it got dark in the winter, HOW mad is that :shock: :shock:

They will make you take your appointments on your day off instead, if it was a weekday that is.

almost as mad as starting your delivery in the dark like we used to do, sorry but the light thing is a non starter because there is no way to guaruntee every delivery will take place in day light hours, you could probably ensure most did but it is impossible to ensure all do without delaying the mail delivery till the next day, ie deliver yesterdays mail first then go back to the office and start sorting, ie do it the "wrong way round"

The difference is i would rather be wandering about some dodgy estate in the dark at 8.00 in the morning when i know most of the a*seholes are still in their beds than 4.00 in the afternoon when they are wandering the streets in packs looking for a "happy slapping" victim :mad
