It depends on what bone is broken, a leg then no, your penis then I'd have to say yes

Re: working with a broken bone!!
We have people in the office working with broken bones, one guy broke a finger quite badly and has a cast on with a metal cage around his finger and hes still working (prepping, IPS).
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Just take the sick time, tell your DOM and ATOS that it's too painful to do anything other than sitting down and trying to heal.lilsobriquet wrote:well I don't have a penis.... lol

What was that TV programme where there was a One-armed dishwasher? Robins nest?
Perhaps you could just deliver to addresses where there's an open gap, no sprung letter box!!!
I'm surprised they haven't asked you to do this yet, or prep 50,000 D2D's LOL!

Re: working with a broken bone!!
You can't be sick and on leave too (brothermagrew will be able to provide full details) so you will be able to claim holidays back from the date of your sick line. I assume it's your right wrist and if so make sure they don't bully you into coming back early to do 'light' duties, make sure you make your consultant aware of what ATOS recommend because they hate having their opinion questioned by unqualified people.lilsobriquet wrote:there's time yet!!!!! only happened this week and i was on hols...

Go sick while you still can before these new fit notes start in April

Our goal is that under the new system ‘fit notes’ will be computer-generated in GPs surgeries, replacing the current hand written version(Pegasus Grr)
