Just wondering if, as a 25er reserve, there will ever crop up a chance to do full time hours for a few weeks like at xmas - dont know how summer works in my office whether its lapsing or whatever as just joined last August.
I dont mean will I become full time perm just if there will ever come a chance to bump the hours up.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
acca, sometimes in my office if we are short staffed or at busy times of the year they ask the part timers to do full time hours, at my office the 30 hrs guys probably get to do this in average 2 or 3 months a year.
There are loads of part timers on here posting that they get extra hrs cause their office is fooked.

Did he also explain how he was going to achieve the increase? I don't want to sound pessimistic here but if he is going to increase the contracts he is cutting down on overall numbers. Unless he is suddenly going to find an increased workload from somewhere.
When all the park and loop nonsense kicks in your delivery time increases and your overall duty numbers decrease.

You want more hours as you cannot survive on £138 but you baulk at the idea of getting up at 4.00.
