Does anybody know if Royal Mail provide payments to people who allow the use of their toilet in the same way that it provides payments for safedrops. If not then they should as i am sure we all have somebody on our walks who would be kind enough to let us use their toilet.

it is up to Royal Mail to provide you with a safe place to go to the toilet whilst on delivery even if it means a 20 minute walk

Generally I can hold onto what I've got until I get home, if deliveries are made any longer they will have to sort something out!

Unlikely I would have thought, they'll do anything to save money. Including neglecting to provide toilet facilities to staff, they can't even keep the toilets in our office in working order so got no chance of anything notable happening with facilities on delivery!

Yeah you would think in this day and age, RM should have come up with a solution by now, I mean how long has the company been running!

In our office last year RM installed new toilet roll holders.

We beleive these machines are ex Krypton Factor tests.Trying to get any paper out is very difficult ,certainly would give anybody a test of brain power to work them out.

i think officialy in the walk logs ,their are toilet places,like a old people home the other end of the walk,or schools that wont let you in as you are not CRB checked
or Doctors surgies the Far end of your walk.

Can see being a real problem with longer deliveries,I am sure RM are concerned about your welfare,thats why we are having longer deliveries with out any consultation.

This is why we are all now to work all the hours we are paid for that a return to office where upon all these facilities should all be provided for along with catering and parking for all who attend for duty and if in doing so we spilt the delivery span so be it! Is it this in the negotiations!.

Royal Mail should provide payments to people who allow the use of their toilet in the same way that it provides payments for safedrops especially as their toilets have paper, soap, hot running water and towell, luxuries that are rarely available back at the delivery office. And they are also often kind enough to provide a decent cup of coffee, biscuit and a few kind words.

Not many hearing a toilet referred to as the Pan know that this term derives from the Paniers of a Royal Mail bicycle. Honest.
