Royal Mail strike figures

Just read with a chuckle that the level of people going in work was between 5% rising to 60% in places. With such false recording of figures by Royal Mail, no wonder the union don't believe that 2.5% if the best offer available. Our office 800+ less than ten went in, and thats being generous to Royal Mail. Friday is always a winner with the staff.

In our DO Office of approx 60 only 3 people went in and 2 of tjhem are part timers!!!

Because we had some off on leave or sick Royal Mails figures will read something like 'Only 65-70% supported the strike in Burslem'. Lies, lies and more damned lies.

almost a scab free office here in Bournemouth but Westbourne Ferndown and Wimbourne had a lot turn up for work shame really that they cannot see the harm that they are doing. Could be that they are scared of the manager

3 from 63 in my office. including 1 strikebreaker who is on A/L. DUM's are posting on notice boards an RM release on the average earnings of a postie according to Adam '360,000 bonus' Crozier. He reckons we earn £405 per week. I think he needs a reality check. An average postie who works 50+ hours a week might earn that. Mind you, we have to do these extra hours cos of the s**t basic pay we get.

i heard the same that they are counting sick and annual leave (maybe evem managers??) - our branch sec said that the 60% was some tiny office in Scotland of under 10 workers where 5 went in or something l ike that

don't know how he knew that but given the reports everyones putting up it seems that must be the case unless RM has some massive underground bunker sortingmail thru the nite

Well I work nights, no o/t and I take home £306.50 per week, can I work in the office where they earn £405 per week. :cfo :lfo

if you find it let me know i could do with some of that,i bet they included the whole wage bill and then divided it by the number off staff throughout the whole company to work that one out
