Embrace the insanity, it normally helps me through the day (that and dreaming of things happening to the managers...........think Shaun of the Dead  although I don't think I'd notice the difference :nervous ).

In it's most basic form, I enjoy the job. But I hate the way we are treated by management these days.

When the weathers good and the bag is light I love the job.

A heavy day on a cold, wet January, well you get the picture.

Most people say that but then at the same time they say they don't want longer deliveries. :hmmmm

With every agreement the CWU's incompetent negotiators present us with, I dislike this job more and more. :evil/mad
It's a right royal pain in the arse, and I'd be off like a shot if I could.

Point is there is a contradiction.
Most people say they are happiest when they are out of the DO but at the same time they don't want to be out of the DO any longer than at present.
Maybe they don't want to be any happier.
Maybe we have reached a happy medium.

I'd be quite happy to be out delivering for 7 hours, as long as I don't have to work longer than my hours I don't really care.

Would I be right in thinking you would be out in a van on a rural for 7 hours?
Bit different to being a foot soldier pushing a glorified pram (I mean an HCT) round some chavtastic estate.

Just in a van, no matter the area.
