HOW COULD WE BE WORSE OFF

I was just wondering if someone out there could tell me and thousands of other posties how we would be worse off if the Tories get in at the next election.

Under the labour government at present we are already moving to a 9-5 job
family friendly policies are been done away with
longer deliviers are to become common practice (more work less hours)
customers are no longer seen as a priority
d2d's are to be increased
pension deficit continues to grow
workers rights continually eroded
more jobs to go one way or another

Were these not some of the reasons why we the union members went on strike in the first place

What have the union done to help us ---- nothing apart from aline themselves with Royal Mail
lets lie back and take whatever Royal Mail want and tell the members it is a good idea

I have seen that cu*t Cameron stating that private investment will be sought for Royal Mail. Things are sh*t just now, but the current bunch are certainly the lesser of two evils as far as I'm concernced. I am staunchly Socialist, but also a realist. Barring a dramatic turnaround for Labour, I think when the Tories get in we are headed for very stormy waters.

Time for a reality check.
Liebour didn't kill off the part-privatisation bill they were so desperate to get in. It's been put on the back burner, that's all.
If the economic climate were to change for the better, they'd have it off that back burner as fast as they could.
They betrayed us, they continue to betray us, and given time, will eventually stick the knife into this once great public service.
Liebour have betrayed the working man/woman, I cannot on principle vote for that shower of shyte. I'm sorry, but there it is.
If toffee-nosed David Cameron gets the chance to privatise Royal Mail, most of the groundwork will have been done for him by Liebour.

The backbenchers in a Conservative goverment will not rebel about this, maybe about 50% top tax rate or inheratance tax for millionaires but not this. Unlike the many fine upstanding Labour backbenchers. on the plus side under a tory goverment our union leaders might find their backbone.

You can depend on it. I wonder if Billy Hayes will sit back and say nothing while they attack our working conditions, pay, the NHS, transport and Education as he has done while his friends in the Labour Party did the same? If we really must have political parties, I'd like to see one looking after our interests for a change instead of fawning and cringing around the rich.
