Apparantley,we will have electric trolleys for some walks soon.
As they will be brand new and RM spent lots of money on them I am sure they will be 100% reliable.
But if they turn out to be as good as the LDV CRAP ?
What hapens if you are on your walk and it brakes down then what
A reverse charge phone call to office,or will they issue us with a mobile and credit.
How long will you have to wait with the trolley ,given the Garages responce to LDV problems a min of 3 hours .lots of phone calls just to get them to look at it .
Cant wait.

We are told now that specials have to be confirmed via text if you dont think youre going to be back by 2pm.
All costs will be refunded.
Trouble is, how do you work out the cost of a text from your allowance?
I wouldnt be calling the office if the trolly broke down.

I think you may find HCT,s will only be used on dely,s no more than a mile from office if the terrain is ok, so it will not be a problem to get them back to base.
You may also find that you will be carrying a PDA so there will be no need to call or return by 2.00 to confirm as this is done within seconds of sending, you will only need to bring back an empty HCT or your PDA.
