DOUBLE STANDARDS

While at the moment i am not directly involved it has come to my attention that their is double standards in royal mail. The particular case in being is that the staff on permanent contracts be it full time or part time on these contacts are more accountable than those who do not!. WHY ? is it dumbing down the service we provide as the only benefit i can see for the introduction of walk sequencing is that and as such those who would not normally be given duties while incapable are performing these duties even though not capable ( Unable to speak never mind read english) while others are being suspended for trivial offences such as not being up to speed or unable to work unpaid overtime or even not delivering all door too door even though the non permanent contracts don't ever do them!.

It's because they want to p!ss pemanent staff off so much that they leave.
It's cheaper to employ new staff on temp p/t contracts - and to get rid off them.

It was not me but i will pass you message on to the afflicted party and thanks for your concern but it is weird that some staff without permanent contracts can do nothing wrong while others part-time or full-time are subject to the full force of the conduct code!. But is this illegal and as long as this continues what good name royalmail did have is being lost by employing those who cannot meet the standards demanded in the past of all those who did receive a permanent contract!. Is the whole exercise of walk sequencing just their to dumb down the service from where i am standing it is and the challenge for our union the CWU is how do we counter act this dumbing down of our job's and the nations postal service!.

we had 3 agency staff 1 Chinese and 2 from Congo all 3 tried to deliver 1 pretty simple walk but couldnt speak the fooking lingo FACT,

didnt complete and brought most of it back at about 4pm and dumped it outside closed office FACT.

But i made all that up cos i'm racist....btw dont pull me up on grammar cos i don't give a s**t, i can speak and read English

The fact is i don't give two hoots if they are pink black yellow or green which you must be and as for giving me lectures in grammar i don't care attack me i don't care but the customers will care if the people royalmail employ cannot do the job!. Next you will advocate that doctor's from Germany can come over here and practice and we seen what has happened this week!. I deliver to people of all colours and am proud too serve them your assumption i am a racist is unacceptable to me and all those who i so gladly serve!.

I don't think you should be allowed to do that unchallenged.
Of course doctors from Germany are allowed to practise medicine in this country. We are part of the European Union.
Are you suggesting that no German doctors should be allowed into the UK because of the actions of one person.

If you have not noticed virtually all the mail in the UK is written in ENGLISH one should have a good grounding in this language to do one's job in the postal service!. However if i went to Germany, India or France, China should they let me just go ahead and do (MY BEST) as it were how long would i last even though i would be incompetent to do the job of any postal workers in those nations i would let them all down badly!.

I know this has got off topic sometimes but it is about standards this is fundamental to us all. We have seen standards drop for some but for others they are accountable for any slight mistake or im-perceived mistake for anyone on a permanent contract!. THIS IS THE BATTLE GROUND FOR US ALL WE ALL MUST CHALLENGE THE COMPETENCE OF NEW STAFF WHO CANNOT DO THE BASICS OF THE JOB YES HELP THEM BUT BUT DO NOT DUMB US ALL DOWN WITH WALK SEQUENCING AND CDV'S FOR THAT IS THE BIG LIE THAT ROYALMAIL SEEK FOR US ALL!.
