what is the current hourly rate after the first 6 months?

and on my pay slip it says 22.3 hours? shouldnt it be 22.5 hours

something isnt right in my pay

when im deviding my overtime pay with the hours i done its working out the same if i was using 22.5 hours in my main pay!

for example

main pay - 1.3 hours = 10.72
or
main pay - 1.5 hours = 12.37

overtime - 1 hour = 8.25 ......... ( 8.25 devided by .5 = 4.12 x3 = 12.37)

meaning that the pay team have been using 1.3 instead of 1.5! in every single pay cheque ive had for 6 months !!!!!!

Why are you d*i*viding your main pay by your overtime rate?

Speaking from a MC perspective we get paid the same rate up to 40 hours. So a 22.5 hour contract gets paid at the same rate for first 17.5hrs overtime per week as for normal duty.

OPG 6month-1year rate is 330.23/p/w or 8.25/hr

Edit: and payslips work on the basis that hours have 60min not 100, therefore 5 hrs 30 min shows as 5.30 and 5hr 45min as 5.45.

ok so calculate what my 22.5 hour contract at 8.25 should be in total at end of week ive got 181.84 on my slip

181.84 devided by 8.25 gives me 22.04

Have you just passed 6 months? As I think I'd be correct in saying they pay per day when it comes to the switchover weeks - i.e. if 6months ends on the Weds you get <6 months rate for Mon-Weds, >6 months for Thurs+

As for working out part time pay from the tables, full timers are on 40 hours. So divide the full rate by 40, multiply by however many contracted hours you work. Although that list doesn't include the 6month-1year bracket TBT...

you mean that? no i was making the overtime go to 1.5 hours which matched the 1.5 in the example main pay

Right look at your pay slip, 2nd row 4th colomn it will give you your pay rate, on mine £347.61 yours will probably be less due to time of service being less than a year, divide that figure by 40 hours to give you your hourly rate, then multiply it by 22.5(not 22.3 that is just the time format RM use on their payslip everything after the . is the minutes) that should give you your gross pay figure, if it doesnt then call hr and they will figure out what is wrong

Just looked back at my old wage slips and there is a pay increase after 6 months and then after 12 months of service so you won't be on £8.25 per hour if you have only done 6 months you will be on about £8.08 per hour try times that by 22.5 and it should be right - your pay rate should read at £323.20 (this is for 40hrs)
