Rates of pay.

Can anyone please tell me the hourly rate of pay for the following;

Hourly rate
Overtime rate
Overtime rate (after 10 hours)
Schedule rate
Sunday rate

Of course divide the full figures by 40 to get hourly rate. They are in order

Starting wage

after 12 months

To be fair, it's bloody expensive here on the south coast aswell. And my "area supplement" is 7 quid a week.

Always thought it was a bit unfair that some of the londoners get (according to that chart anyway) nearly 100 quid more than the rest...

It would have been a lot more unfair if RM had got their way when they attempted to bring in "Regional Pay Structures", London would have been on a lot more than say Liverpool, Glasgow or Sheffield where jobs are hard to come by after manufacturing closed down. I was not in then but I do think that was one of the good things the CWU/UCW have done.

Its bloody expensive to live where ever you live these days! A lot of people (Not all) live outside of london in the surrounding suburbs but because they "work" in London they still get the London weighting which is just wrong. Its not as if you have a postie living in Kensington Square!!

The London pay does seem very high compared to everyone elses and it does make u wonder what the unions priorities are?
