I think the break is aimed at maybe redrawing positions, costings etc.... just because they dont meet doesnt mean work isnt going on.shimmyrule wrote:lang weekend then eh, friday setterdae an sunday aff,

Would you rather the negotiators just accepted RMs position then?shimmyrule wrote:ive never known such lengthy negotiations, how many hours have they been talking?

We are looking at an agreement that will change our industry forever. If it takes a while to get right then it will be worth it and if the members don't think it is good enough then we will get our vote!

Re: TALKS UPDATE
if im being honest, the longer these buffoons talk, the less likely i believe anything will come out of it.
If i look at what weve lost over the years by these skillful cwu negotiators- driving allowances, early shift allowance going, reduction of overtime rates of pay- no increse in d2d monies for 20 years plus-, you ll understand why im fed up with talking.
But hey ho,will see what happens , cheers.

Re: TALKS UPDATE
Getting more money in my pay packet is always welcome, however I would much rather go to work and enjoy it than end up like we are now ( wages up over the last few years BUT we have had to pay for this increase big time! eg. increased STRESS / BULLYING / OVERSIZED DUTYS & INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT etc. )
I don't want more money, I want back the job I used to ENJOY.

Re: TALKS UPDATE
I hear its all been sorted Adam buys the coffee in the morning and Dave and Billy get them in the afternoon. They have now moved on to decide what biscuits they are going to have with the coffees. Agreement by XMAS 2012 boys but it will be worth the wait.
