Talks continue

Post by Martin Walsh »

At the risk of boring you further , the talks have moved to Berkshire , but there wont be a deal unless Royal Mail change their mind on the benefits issues. We are oceans apart and the union wont be compromising .

Either Royal Mail puts up or there wont be a deal . Now we will find out how much they want a deal.

Thanks for the info Dingo.

Oh and while your here could you shed some light as to why ******* ******** and alike are making our area reps use the indoor working tool to give part timers dedicated walks?

And why it has to be sorted asap, Whats going on as i get the impression it something to do with the talks.

I'm senior enough to get one of the walks that is left for full timers to pick but will be others in the office senior to all the part timers that will be now left without a regular duty.

So was there an agreement that the ballot remains live for the duration of the talks ,or do we have to start jumping through hoops all over again and from a much weaker position?

Why do they keep moving around, can't they just talk at the ACAS offices or are they on tour?

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Shimmy is right, quite apt really moving round the country like a f***ing circus, suppose we`re the clowns in all this. What a suprise that now RM have seemingly got what they wanted from the negotiations, they start stallng when they have to "splash the cash"
Time is ticking till we at last find out about the long awaited "deal of the century"

Well things may have changed, they may now know the strike ballot has expired and have decided to play hardball OR they may just be dotting the i's and crossing the t's and the UNION want us to think it is they who are playing hardball, who knows?

Not feckin us that's for sure. :cuppa
