run many of Britain Companies ,From Boots ,Justin King sainsburys,Morrisons.

Here is my Prediction for Croziers replacement,
He will have some connection with Alan Leighton,was our current chairman ,dont know his name selected by Leighton.
Alan's influances in big buisness are amazing and he does not live in the UK-TAX EXILE I THINK.

Allan Leighton is currently running Loblaw - a Walmart/ASDA clone based in Canada.

Strangely the Operations director from Loblaw (Dalton Phillps) was put appointed CEO of Morrisons on the same day Croziers appointment to ITV was made. Dalton Phillips used to work at Walmart as well.

While Debenhams and pubs group Mitchells & Butlers got new chairmen, the more eye-catching appointment of the week was Adam Crozier to the chief executive's role at ITV. Archie Norman, himself only weeks into the chairmanship at the broadcaster, surprised the markets by plucking Crozier from the Royal Mail, where he had made a name for himself but had not been mentioned in the list of potential successors to Michael Grade.

Crozier's move to ITV has raised questions about his lack of broadcasting experience, but those wondering how he got the job should look no further than his former chairman at Royal Mail.

Leighton, probably best known for his time as chief executive of Asda, is the boardroom fixer who has been using his connections to put young high-flyers into top jobs. Norman is a friend of Leighton from his time as chairman of Asda. When Leighton moved to the Royal Mail he hired Crozier as chief executive.

It is understood that Leighton was influential in Morrisons' appointment of Dalton Philips to replace Marc Bolland as chief executive, another big appointment announced last week.

The Leighton factor may be coincidence, but the evidence suggests otherwise. Sainsbury's chief executive Justin King worked with Leighton at Mars and Asda, as did the former boss of Boot's, Richard Baker.

Asda's current chief executive Andy Bond came up through the Norman-Leighton partnership, as did Andy Hornby, who was plucked from the supermarket group to head up HBOS until its spectacular collapse. He has re-emerged from the darkness to land another high street job, running Alliance Boots.

They say talent and experience get you places, but friends in the right places never did anyone any harm.
