I doubt it; there's been a light shower somewhere south of Glasgow.

How long does it take them all to agree that they can't actually agree on anything?

The pre-Christmas 'Agreement' was only an agreement to make an agreement, when they could agree to meet and enter into talks about 'Agreements' which seemed to include lots of disagreements about local agreements that were never actually agreed in the first place!
Have I made my point?

Yes the current agreement is everything is being left at local agreement - what this means is Management over ride your union rep (if he isn't off sick with stress) and you get Fu£$*ed in the ass, if your lucky..

Thia was posted on the Betfair forum today, the poster has been pretty ITK in the past, but i have no idea how accurate the details are:



FFS. brought us out on strike prior to christmas, which i agreed with but what kind of deal is this.

hours to change from avge 6 am to 2pm. mon-fri 5am to 1 pm sat.

TO 8am to 4pm. mon - sat 5hour delivery span. basically if the customer thinks they are getting their mail late now it will be 2 hours later with the new agreement.

add to this.

D2D ITEMS (leaflets) currently paid at 1.75p per item . maximum 3 types per week . so basically a delivery with 3 of these WITH 800 calls is currently earning £42 extra.
this is to be replaced by a one off payment of £12 with UNLIMITED amount of d2ds

tantamount to a huge paycut.

no way, toooooo big a change in start-finish times.

I reckon we will get done on the d2ds , maybe 20-25 quid a week on our wages-pensionable- but as to how many a week we shall get, who knows.
