We were briefed by our manager who went to a meeting yesterday and told that walk sequencing machines would be coming to our area in April or May .( CT area).He also said that the delivery span would be 4 hours. Talks seem to be pointless as most things already seem to have been decided.

From a display on the board at our MC it looks like we will be getting (starting April) 2 iLSMs and what I think might be 5 walk sequencing machines (so we are probably going to be doing the sequencing for most of the DOs covered by the MC), two of our LSMs will go as will both of our MTTs.

I wish they'd gas away forever, while the windbags are busy, errr, windbagging, life, though far from perfect, carries on as normal.
We all know that the outcome of these talks will be, that you, me, and Fanny Mctwee, will be in a job where our working conditions will have worsened, again.

aye i guess i will watch this space because my union cant get it together to rustle up a LTB stating what uve just said.meanwhile nudge nudge,wink wink,say no more.though i did hear the talks are being held in a masonic hall and not a hotel in surrey and it will be a deal we can all shake hands on..

Management bullsh*t - dont fall for it, ask him for a copy of the briefing that has the information, and remind him nothing, absolutely nothing can change, will change or is able to change until an agreement has been finalised AND voted for by the membership ( and if he don't like it, maybe he should grow a backbone, and do some managing, instead of sneaking round like his gaffer's tapeworm )
