If you were full time before you went on maternity leave, came back to part time hours on the understanding that you would go back to full time is it true you would have to stay on part time hours?
I thought you had a year to decide if you wanted to go back up to full time?
Another one, what happens to the annual leave you collect when on maternity leave?
Any answers anybody please?

If your contract was for full time then you should be able to go back to full time... unless you signed a new contract.
Holiday time acrued while off should also be saved. You haven't taken holiday time so you are owed it

Thanks, think I've been well and truly shafted! My year being back at work is up now and was repeatedly told during that time that they would look into it - managers and union. I've been bashing my head against a brick wall!

I'm still stuck!!!!! I have my new card but still can't access her details on the cwu site as I can't get into it!
I can look at the home page but can't 'log in'!
Our union rep is on the sick and has been for a while and the managers I have asked have said they can't help me. It doesn't help that someone in our office has gone back from maternity leave and got 4 weeks holidays when I only got 1!!!!!
Surely it is too late to get this sorted but if they owe me this annual leave and the chance to get my hours back I can't just walk away from this!
