The problem I have is to find the TIME to do the servicing. I'm on a full time walk and am too knackered most days to come back to the office to do the bikes.
This just leaves my day off and thats not always possible either.
Main problem I have is to get spares as RM seem reluctant to spend any money at the moment, probably because bikes will only be a 'minor' delivery tool come the revolution.

I used to do bikes for 3 hrs a week o/time it got cut down to 2hrs so i quit, the bikes were then outsourced to another office and that guy quit now they are in a bad state as no-one is doing them. MOT's due soon so i wonder if they will get sorted

I'm a cycle mechanic - what problems do you have? I haven't had any problem getting spares or tools though the last time I ordered stuff there was a bit of a tussle but I got them in the end. Like another poster on here time is a problem but not quite as bad as when we had 52 - we are down to 12 now and I service them twice a year as per instructions and of course repair them ad hoc as and when they need something done.
