What to do
Hey just a quck question, say if you no longer can cope with the pressure and extra demand now the walks are longer etc etc what can you do? Is there anybody within RM to ask for advice? I know the obvious is look for another job.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: What to do
I think, a D2D cockup with a trigger happy manager suspending, this was refred to an area manager and overturned and the other was for leaving a bag of post in a box dont ask how that happened. A new walk I belive and wasnt sure of all the bag drops etc. So yeah not too good of a history really!!! All happened the backend of this year due to stress an the like, this has being noted to the managers which has resulted on being put on one of if not the biggest walk in the office.

" I know the obvious is look for another job". I think this is the attitude RM is looking for, particularly if you are full time. I think the sole aim of Crozier and his cronies , is to make things as bad as possible, with the aim of people ( his name for us) leaving in droves. If he can get rid of as many full timers as possible in the process, then the evil plan is complete :cfofothsn wrote:Hey just a quck question, say if you no longer can cope with the pressure and extra demand now the walks are longer etc etc what can you do? Re: What to do
don't know if your asking for yourself,or a colleague, but one option is VR,at the moment there is a preference exercise in our area, with the proposals for greater savings this year,we will have to absorb even more work.
if you feel you cannot commit to new working patterns,i.e. later finish, then you could request your contract is mutually terminated.
probably the best thing in the first instance, would be to see your doctor, and explain how you feel,if he signs you off with stress it will give you some much needed breathing space, because i know how bad it is,to be honest if could leave i would, but theres not much out there.
hope you get through it.

Not too many recover from a stage 3, not unless you have a very very good reason for it getting that far. And as posted before RM want rid of staff on big contracts, so they'd probably peddle you without a second thought.fothsn wrote:How so?

Seen one person beat a stage 3 rap in 15 years. And that was because he told them his girlfriend was pregnant with twins and one of his grandparents had just died (all bullshine).

Re: What to do
I've only seen 2 people sacked at stage 3 in my office in 13 years, with many many coming away with nothing but a warning. (including me a few years ago).mclovin wrote:Seen one person beat a stage 3 rap in 15 years. They certainly are a lot keener these days though and I wouldn't risk another.

Stage 3+Full timer = dismissal now
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Sometimes with things like that its down to if your face fits and "who you know" In the past seen people get off RTUs 4 or 5 times at my place. Wouldnt want to face that situation now tbh.IPS wrote:Stage 3+Full timer = dismissal now
