Banking Hours Due to Weather

Was told by manager we owe them 6 hours as they sent us home early on 3 occasions last week.

Its too late for them now after the event, they should have either gave you the option to stay and get paid or go home and owe the hours, they could have also said go home and we will still pay you and forget about the hours but then looking out the window I dont see any flying pigs, but main point is, its too late for them to ask after the event, it would have been perfectly reasonable for them to say at the time and for you to rightly refuse and sit in the office and get paid!
