am i right that if i am on a stage 2 and i have no more sick for 6 months i go back to zero stage or back to a stage 1 (if i have 1 days sick) in that 6 months period

From the guidance notes: RM attendance standards that I was issued with two years ago after being issued with a stage 1.

"2nd Stage: If, after you have been issued a 2nd stage warning, you incur no more than 1 absence of 4 days or less, during the next 12 months you will be removed from the procedure.

If, at the end of the next 12 months after you have been issued a 2nd stage warning, your absence record is such that you have incurred less that 2 absences or a single absence of less than 10 days within any 6 month period, but you have incurred more than 1 absence of 4 days in the 12 months, you will be reverted to the 1st stage of the procedure for a further 12 months. If, during the 12 months from the date you have been reverted to the 1st stage, you incur 2 absences or a single absence of 10 days or more, withing any 6 month period, you may be issued with a further 2nd stage warning."

this is not in there as far as i can see

I'm lost with this second stage thing,can't rem what happened to me,but i'm guessing andrew is right.

A stage warning whether it be stage 1 or stage 2 lasts for 12 months.

On a stage 2 the standards to meet to revert to a stage 1 are the same to revert from a stage 1 to not being on the attendance procedure. In addition stage 2 also allows you to drop right off the attendance procedure if you meet a tougher standard over the 12 months.

Memory tells me it is 4 days in one single period.
