Bringing mail back

Post by jockstrapp »

Can someone please tell me what the OFFICIAL line is regarding bringing mail back from delivery. We are told that if you take it out you must complete delivery even if it means going over your time. There must be someone out there can give the official lineon it.

HELP PLEASE

If you notify a manager that you are bringing back anything when you complete your contracted time and then again notify a manager when you get back to the office there is nothing that can be done.

Make sure you have a witness though, a union rep is ideal.

I can't remember the last time I saw a manager when I got back. They start at 6am and they are gone by 12.30pm.And its's us who have to work all our contracted hours.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Any manager will do, not just a Line Manager. And if you have arrived and there is not one there, well it's hardly your fault and it's easily provable.
