weather really bad today managers piled out mailsort heavy catalogues etc and didnt seem to care about the conditions deep snow and frozen roads and paths we were told go out when you are ready as a lot of us are on park and loop we only got out over an hour later than the town walks and they moaned when i said i was leaving in the large packets managers have no regard for our health and safety what the hell is happening to this job in my eyes the strikes should never have been called off they are walking all over us

Just remember we live in a very sick ;twisted ;upside down and back to front society.
The absolute first priority is to maintain and improve the level of PROFIT
As a resource ,albeit a human resource ,your health and safety always remains secondary to the pursuit of profit.
Should we reach a point where an injury to a human resource has a negative effect on the level of profit achieved then appropriate action will be taken.

Why refuse to take out the large parcels? That could get you labelled as a trouble maker, there is no justification for not taking them out, you cant know what the conditions will be at each address you will get to, so you should take them all out, AND THEN bring them all back later stating you assessed the risk to deliver it and it wasnt safe, you tried your best but sorry, they cant do squat if you do that, but refusing to even try could cause you problems
