Cutting Off

I've recently started getting into work on time, which means pretty much most days I have to cut off. I stupidly use to get in an hour early because I felt under so much pressure to get the job done, but then I woke up! Because only a few people in my office actually start at the correct time, it makes us look like we are being lazy and not doing our job properly because we are always so far behind everyone else. If everyone worked to their correct times, it would show that the rounds were too big, and the managers would be dealing with tons of cut offs. Also when managers see you are struggling, they just walk past you and ignore you, and presume you are happy to extend! I have stopped extending, you get no thanks for it! The managers think you are being difficult by not wanting to work past your time! I'm happy to work to my finish time, but have a life after royal mail! This job is sooooo stressfull sometimes! And another thing on top of everything else we are meant to have time to throw up our door to doors!

Sorry had a bad few weeks, needed to let off some steam, sure I'm not the only one feeling like this.

Its never easy breaking off when the some of the other rounds are un-balanced and they are getting around with loads of time to spare.

Ive been cutting off since november now.prior to this ive had 9yrs where ive always completed with the occasional hours overtime here and there.now i find to do the duties im on its almost impossible to complete without going over.last week my boss had me leaving mail behind unsorted so i was out of the office on time so as to complete,how long this will last who knows.the whole systems in chaos,its badly planned and impossible to work and i cant see it improving sadly.stick to what your doing and good luck.

I have a 4.15hr delivery span and it does'nt matter if I'm out early or not I only deliver for 4.15hrs then come back and do some indoor work even if I'm cutting off. It's bad enough delivering 4.15hr without going over.

Most days are cut offs
