Covered the PHG, 2nd time in a Year, and again today, someone didn't turn up for a collection.
Local PO rang giving me grief about Specials not collected, but no one there but lonley old me!
Tried to explain poor situation, and placate her. Was unable to get alternate collector either.
But PO rang HQ to complain, so I got in the neck with a phone call, though nothing to do with me, again...

Not happy. Others incompetence giving me stress I could do without, Contacted Rep, no reply as yet.
Waiting to see what flak I get next few days.
Unjustified,of course, but still expecting it.

Very "Pontious Pilot", in so much as everyone goes home and leaves the P/T to it.

Next time put the phone down after saying please ring again when my manager is here or offering to pass on a message to the manager.

I would not bother covering for the PHG get someone else to do it

In the past i handed out the DSM's number to a customer, i told the customer if this person can't fix it no one can.
he was a raging madman when people started to call his mobile.
i told the customer to call between 6am and 3pm and that they didnt get the number from me.
The secretary had to go home early. She came down to the floor saying the DSM was livid the public have got hold of his mobile phone number.
