Some guys have a walk close to office adn there full time

with me comin in pt there all ready to go and we are still getting ready

so a few of them are out delivering and are back by the time we are leaving

they have like half there walk to do and i havent even left the office to travel for 20 fing minutes up to my 4 and a half hour walk!!!

Weve same prob our office guys finishing 11ish etc, the daft guys who come in early ,use there cars ,and rush about office like madmen ,,,while we get stick from management cause we do the job as its supposed to be done ....t wats.

Now over the xmas period i was told to cover the parcel shift plus anything else that needed covered. Worked my hours, no getting away early for me. Had a quick word with my dom about everyone coming back early and still getting paid 2hrs for it (it only happened a couple of days throughout xmas).

I asked if he has the power to tell them to help me shift the parcels, he replied by saying he does but won't do anything about it. Why?

I don't blame my collegues for going home early and putting there feet up while i am still roaming the streets. I blame poor management.

Exactly. Until they are told that they HAVE to work their hours, they'll take shortcuts to finish early. Why not?

In my office its the same people finishing as early as half 11 when they're paid till 2, and the manager does feck all about it.

Everyone's busier in the run up to Christmas but it's the vans, especially this year with all the extra internet bought parcels, that have had a near intollerable workload this time.

Meanwhile, us drivers, who don't do job and finish because we have to bring the vans back get made to absorb if there's the slightest chance we might finish early!

In our office we cant go out untill we are allready to which is normally about 9am and on a good day we are all back by about 1pm

all depends if you are in our offices' little clique,if you are you can finish early & even stand around & talk without being told off like a naughty schoolboy,however,if you are on the outside looking in,well,you is fcuked,come in early,sent out,talking in the office,sent to the naughty corner,load of bawls

It's job and finish for drivers in my office, Saturday mornings they are done for 10.
