Branch Quarterly Newsletters

Post by Picket »

Hi

Just wondered if anyone has a branch that produces quarterly newsletters?

If so, are they worthwhile and what info is given?

cheers

Bradford AMAL seems to - at least it sends out 1 double sided updates and briefs whenever there is a "situation" developing and they need to galvanise the membership. Beyond that I am on the Branch Email list. My Reps list, Face-book for my Branch and Division and of course the LTB and News lists from HQ - I think with this site I tend to get most of the information I need or want.

I will email mbrs in my D.O when I have info to share as they are more likely to read a email than read the noticeboard.

Tell you what my branch produces: the sum total of communications from my branch for as far back as I can remember is election ballot papers, and that is it. Oh and one quick meeting to rally the troops each time there is a national dispute(Both times after the ballot closed  )
