Rotaional day off on Christmas Day
My rotational day off fell on Christmas day. Do I just lose that day off or should I get paid for it or have a day in lieu? I've asked line manager but just got the brush off.

hi,normal days off over christmas are not to be "clawed "back or paid extra.Unfortunate if your long weekend landed on this period as you will feel a bit aggrieved that you would have been off anyway.We discussed this at length on xmas eve in our delivery office,and it is under the national xmas agreedments.

Day in lieu for Christmas Day,it's a public holiday. Our guys lost Saturday as a rotational day off 'cos that was a little pressie from our caring hierachy
