What Time Did You Finish Today

I hope you all got done nice and early so you could get home with your family.
I was round the mother in laws at about 18.00 and a postie was out on delivery on there street
Did anyone finish later then that on a walk?
Maybe he was on docket or overslept

I finished at 2pm but then I was out on the road from 7.30am

I had that yesterday, 6 specials and 14 recorded, but today was like a usual Thursday. Finished at 12.00 (official finish time 12.30). Most of the full timers would have been done about then as well. Loads of mail sort and DSA, only a few Xmas cards but loads of packets. Office was cleared as well,so hats off to the packet guys, at least we did our best.

All deliveries cancelled in Exeter due to the ice on the pavements. Only completed half of the round the day before for the same reason! Can't wait for Tuesday's delivery....not!

started an hour early(as agreed before hand)
had to run around (had a nice fall which left me with some nice cuts n bruises)and got done by 12.10,then a blast over the city to get my boy from nursery

Seems the south west got hit hard today_

THE Royal Mail has revealed Christmas Eve deliveries have been disrupted by the icy conditions after it was alleged all services out of the Taunton Delivery Office had been cancelled.

The County Gazette received reports that workers at the Taunton depot had refused to go out in the ice, leading to all services being scrapped.

It was also alleged that staff had agreed to work extra hours on Tuesday to make up for it – four days after Christmas.

But a Royal Mail spokesman said staff from the delivery office were “attempting” deliveries today “where possible” and said the office would remain open until 5pm so customers with suitable proof of ID could collect items themselves.

I finished my rural at 3pm my mate finished his walk at 3.30pm then it was pub time.But one lady in our office finished at 5.30pm.

2.15, with no break. Then got half blamed for missing Special N/A post office manager put into normal bag without checking it.
I specifically asked if there was a Special, to which he replied no...
Woman ringing office over and over saying, "It's a present for my daughter and I NEED it NOW!"
Well, perhaps someone should have stayed at home when the postie first attempted delivery if it's that important!

1130 but had a 3rd of the delivery taken off me as I have injured my knee and cant do stairs for the forseeable future.

Got finished at 3.30pm. Got out the door at 9.00am. Had 9 specials and a s**t load of packets. Went everywhere but had to leave van in some places and walk a mile or so to reach the customer. Some hadnt had mail for the past 4 days and I felt they should get some on xmas eve. Very tiring and my hats are off to the townies across the UK who had to struggle round on foot in crap conditions
