ordering uniform !

Been asking my Line manager to order me some shoes for ages, rung up today to c heck, he still hasn't ordered them ! was told on the phone that we are only entitled to 1 pair of shoes a year ! is this right ? why do we have to jump threw hoops just to get the gear we need, i mean its hardly fashionable !

Why can't you order them yourself?
And I thought it was one pair of shoes every TWO years.

i thought you DOM could authorise more shoes if yours are split or badly worn..............mine has done this for me

I'm on my second pair in six months, just show your manager the worn out pair, mine said fair enough and ordered me another pair.

$ months i've been waiting for a new pair of Docs, been told they're waiting on them coming back into stock... a smell bullsh*t still having to wear those shitty Magnums that i fell 6 months ago just goes to show managers & RM really do care about our health n safety. But they can order us Magnums - No thanks due to the fact that they are crap & dangerous no grip on pavements when its raining etc

It's one every six months? When my last pair of Magnum's gave up after an amazing 7 months service

I rang up and asked if I needed authorisation from my manager. Said nope and I got a new pair sent.

Probably because they know the Magnums are total sh*te. I wore a pair for one day, nearly killed myself on a patterned concrete drive and binned them. I've got the Cat boots which are really comfortable but a bit heavy, and i've been waiting for the Cat shoes since October.

i was told by one of the gaurdians of the precious uniforms on the phone that i'm only allowed 2 shirts every 3 years!!!
