That shuffle songs function on the ipod is wonderful.One minute it's the sweet reggae of Matumbi, the next the power chords of Geen Day.
But listening closely to Jesus of Suburbia it is clear the song is about WTLL.Billy Joe sings:

A cursory glance at their back catalogue reveals further connections to the life as a blueshirt:
"We are the Waiting" is about your driver being late with your dropbags.
"Desperate but not Hopeless" is obviously a highly political song about the current position of the CWU.

So was Billy Joe a postman before fronting a pop/punk outfit.

CCR, reading your post just made me think of the old Maxell tape advert ( geezer with lyric cards a la Bob Dylan, to the tune of The Isrealites by Desmond Decker = "Woooo-oooh, me ears are alight!" ) [/hijack]

Top of my head, the only songs that inspire me against RMs machinations are "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit ( great way to relieve frustration ) and the intro to "Aces High" from Iron Maiden's "Live After Death" double album ( to the sound of a "scramble" bell & Merlin engines firing up, Churchill is delivering the last lines of his "Fight them on the beaches" speech - stirring stuff! )
