Am I entitled to Christmas bonus while on sick leave?

A quick one, just checking. I've been paid the christmas bonus even though i'm currently on sick leave. is this right?

might be out of date ? - depends what the percentage of days off is - RM may want it back

this is what i'm wondering. i've been off now for a few weeks and haven't worked at all over the christmas pressure period. I thought you had to be in work to get the bonus.

I am pretty certain that you can't win if you're not in it, so to speak. Guarenteed RM will claw it back in the New Year. Am also expecting a day to be deducted because I didn't make it into work yesterday. Come on, what else did you expect from RM ??

you might be lucky enough to get away with it, i got it last year while on sick and they never took it back so you might get lucky

I have been off sick, the last three months and got the bonus this week. Mind you I am off because of my disablity , so covered under the DDA .

well i'll just keep quiet then and hope for the best. If they do take it back at least it won't be as bad as when they took back over £500 each off about 40 of us due to them mistakenly paying us allowances that they later said we shouldn't have got.

I got the bonus a few years back when I had been off for 2 months, I think if you are on full sick pay you still get the bonus.
