actually there are very good on ice - Up here in Yorkshire with all the hills they are a god send - bit slippy though if you get on a path that's been cleared - go figure.

Nothing is really good on ice but ive found the chains are better than nothing at all.

I really don't know how I did'nt fall as everyone around me was. Poor buggers. I think most people were falling because they thought it was wet but it was like an ice rink. I had to hold on to railings going up and down stairs with both hands. Some streets were taking me double the time to do.

How we're expected to deliver mail in that sort of weather is beyond me, i was ready for phoning up the office this morning and letting them know exactly how bad it was, took me an hour and a half to do 1 street which normaly takes 45 mins on a dry day :shock:
THOSE RESPONSIBLE SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE

Fell after less than 10 minutes on my run. Hairline fracture to my wrist, sore ankle infact sore all over.
Indoors with light duties today, but really want back out on delivery.
