i was in at work today from 5-6.20am but had to go home as i was unwell if i go back tommorrow will this count as an abscence i heard that if you were in work so long it dose nt count against you is that correct

I think it goes down as a part day, so yes it does count. It used to be ignored if you worked until after 6.00am Thats why we had people crawl in then go home after 6.00. :cuppa :cuppa

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I had similar time off recently,you will have rtw interview but it does not count as a full day mainly cause you signed on and commenced work, it is part absence make sure your dom only puts down as sick for the time you were actually sick. :roll: :roll:
