This last week in my office we have had so many Cut Offs its untrue!
last year the rounds were exactly the same size and every thing else equal but we never had cutt offs on this scale,sometimes guys would stay out for a bit longer just to finnish off,but this year the the size of cutt offs is Amazing.


I am trying to get ny head round the reason for such.Definatley Substantial increase in Packets to the point the Callers cannot cope and run out of room.But Are the packets the reason for so many Cut offs ?
I think the amount of cards are praobly about the same,but where normaly at Xmas A4flats are very queit this does not seem to be the caseat present.

What are your theories on why we appear to be so much busier this year than last.

And the Iwho is the diot who agreed lIght bulbs just before Xmas , should be named and shamed !

Packets and parcels are well up on last year. Worse is the DSA parcels from City Link etc, I had a 3rd of my load which were DSA :arrrghhh
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

we have just had the light bulbs turn up ,yorkies full,when are they suppose to go,we are cutting now.

How about the reason being the staff are withdrawing there good will and this is the reason for the cut offs. This job has allways run on the good will ofthe posties to clear there fittings but as in our office there is no good will any more regarless of the time of year it is.

Got it in one I think.

RM have ground out the good will that it relied on and does not yet seem to realise it.

Was told by a manager on Saturday that mail was UP 13% on last Christmas and quote "had caught them by surprise" !

I cut off as much as I can just to f#ck up Royal fail as much as possible. :left: They will learn that they f#ck with me they get it back two fold :nana :nana

he's proud enough to do his hours and no more for these shysters and after all thats what crazier wanted ...as o/t is not compulsory i don't blame him
ours told us theres no pressure at christmas anymore ....yes he's a wan*** i also don't do or intend to do o/t so i work till my time and no more stuff royal fail
i didn't make the problems worse did i ?

Cut off 3 bags on saturday.

Had 8 full bags in total. 5am start, meant to leave office at 7. Didnt leave office till 8.35.

Manager questioned my decision and said i should know we'd be busier this time of year and didnt i care about the customers or want to collect the tips.

One manager even said its in our contract to work beyond our time at christmas :left:

No overtime paid other than the hour for the 5am start. The ones who said they may need to extend were told by a manager that they finished hours ahead of time last tues and should think about giving that time back. I will find out what happened tomorrow.

Cant cut off at our office over xmas but are paid overtime.Even though our manager is moaning like hell about the budget!
