Sales Effectiveness Managers. Specialists who are not accountable for what actually happens in a Post Office. One of a band of similarly named bodies who also are not accountable. They all come with their own agendas about what is ‘important’, and all have their own Line Managers, who are by some distance removed from reality. The majority of them are perfectly decent human beings, although generally not very bright, caught up in the absurdity that is Post Office Ltd. 2009. At some point, my guess is early 2011, someone will finally ask what they do, and how are they paying for themselves.
