new red bags?

saw some in the office today with white reflective band instead of the 'old' yellow

the last lot of new pouches we had were yellow banded ... most were crap ... shoulder straps came unstitched and clips broke or came off inside a week!

Got my new pouch with the white strip a couple of weeks ago, hopefully it'll last longer than the other ones We also got a delivery of some other pouches, very small, don't know what they are for

Are they small nylon pouches with two handles like a carrier bag? If so, they are for drop bags - instead of emptying a mail bag, sort out which bundle goes where in your pouch and fitting packets in and then rolling it up and carrying it the rest of your walk ( or dumping it at the drop point ), simply sort out the drop pouch at your bench, then when you get it, slip it into your delivery pouch - saves me a few minutes each time

They're for the diminishing amount of mail that is being delivered.....according to RM, that is

the parts were you shorten and extend the straps are totally different to the others

to be honest you have to tie a big nott near the top of the strap or it just extends its self when there's weight in.

the older ones had like teeth on the plastic clip which made things better

i think ive just explained this like no one else knows

i just don't understand why they change design for worse

All to do with cost i'm afraid, The only decent thing we get from royal fail nowadays is the footwear, everything else is just cheap tatt

weird though,i remember a year or so back(maybe more ) where a courior article said they had over ordered on red bags and had years worth of them
yet we see new designs and sizes?
so did they just ditch the 'old' ones?

I found out what the small delivery pouches were for, star bursting was the answer, so I guess they are for the park & loop as you say custard.

We've run out of pouches and it's been like that for months now they keep telling us that 'they're on order' but I'm beginning to think that they're not ordering them because it's affecting their bonus.
