Dug out my torch :/

Not had to use my Royal Mail uniform torch for a couple of years but after being still out in the dark on Wednesday I had a mooch round for it at home and put some batteries in it. Has anyone else had to use their torch yet for delivering late into the evening?

Yep, used the doublelight one tonight for sticking in diesel. Our area is almost in total darkness at night.
Worked a treat!!! Well recommended for this activity.

I cut off at 4.30pm yesterday as it was getting dark.
Ten hours is enough at my age.

I don't deliver in the dark. I have a policy of being finished by 4pm if I ever do work over (rarely) and only go over that if something happens out of my control out on delivery. If RM don't like it tough I'll cut off as usual.

I like the overtime tho at Christmas, just not had a delivery go on that long before, mind you this is the first Christmas on this new round; seems everyone is shopping online as well.
