Some advice needed.

There's a fella in are office who is taking the DOM and Assistant DOM for Discrimination. He's taking them because he's the only part-time worker at the IPS in the mornings while the rest of the part-timers frame in. Any advice would be great.

you have to get your union rep involved , see what the duty intails see whether ips is in the shift , if not they are bulling him

How can a P/Tmer be on IPS when he's suppose to start 2 hrs after F/Tmers. In my office when P/Tmers start all IPS is done.

your unit rep should be discussing this within the weekly staff rescourcing meeting with the dom citizen

it would all depend on how it is viewed, you could say that the part timer is now doing all the jobs the full timers do so is unfair. But royal mail could say we pay him for 6 hours work so he does what he is told to do in them 6 hrs and if he dont get time to finish then cut off.

this is true citizen, however I am not privey to the workings of this unit and therefore suggest the staff rescourcing meeting would sort things out if this colleague feels this nessessary.. have a nice day
