They can not sack you for a broken ankle, especially as you were signed off! You should off taken the full 8 weeks also as the doc said.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

You can put two yous like that.It might help to use a comma between the two (Who told you, you could...)for clarity.
Yous is a plural here and your apostrophe is incorrect.

Get supporting evidence for the break in to take to your end of trial interview like crime number and dated document. Go in with a rep and remind them you came back to work 4weeks earlier than your doctor advised/had to. If they sack you you will have a rock solid employment tribunal case.

Sorry to hear about yoyr breakin hope not much was taken and i know how your feeling been broken into 3 times myself not a pleasant experinence especially when you catch the same burglar in your property the 3rd time .

When are people going to learn to see out there sick notes R/M dont give a feck about you and they will not see you in a more favourable light for returning early.

You cannot take a company to ET unless you have been employed for 1 full year, no matter how good your case. There are exceptions; ie: racial or sexual discrimination, but these don't seem to apply in your case.

Get your rep onto it, you have a good case to argue.

Good luck!
