Lapsing during Xmas pressure

We were told by our line manager that we will be lapsing during Xmas pressure, if your call rate is 98-100% only then you can leave the lapsing in.
Most of us don't do lapsing Wed-Fri on a normal day nevermind during Xmas pressure.
Also DIM has decided to take 12 walks out of our office without agreeing with union rep,who is apparently on A/L breaking I/A.
They got the ball rolling yesterday by taking one F/Tmer off IPS from each section to manually extend each walk by 15-20 mins and implement it by mid Jan.
Its like working in a circus run by bunch of fckin clowns.
Our section has been working to rule for last 5 months ie. no cars , working to time etc. and its getting on their tits hence the retaliation.
What are other offices doing during Xmas pressure?

what about the runners who use their cars and don't return to the office? i think , in principle , that this is a great idea to put a stop to them , but until its mandatory to return i can only dream!!!

same old same old in my DO,the old hands can come in 2 hrs before their time & nothing is said,we that are considered newbies (5 yrs or less) get more work to do to make up 8hrs,shite as usual,i'm gonna use the excuse on xmas week that i am working more hrs cos my rest day is the 26th to try & quit early,failing that i have a cunning plan...................................................

We are pretty lucky by the sounds of it, we have only lapsed one walk once in 12 months and now been told the missort run is off till after christmas.
