just make extra bags take enough to take you to your time and leave the rest simplesJimmy Carr`s laugh wrote:fishtank wrote:Jimmy Carr`s laugh wrote:Yeah but xmas pressure starts this week , Try getting then in your bags with your extra 50 cube shaped packets

All we get told is to make extra bags up - something I cant do as it`ll me too long, and I cant leave in as I have to get my little girl from nursery 10mins before im off duty - so have to clear every day , no exceptions bar saturdays. We get this frame of a hole and if the packet will go through we have to take it, not the vans, and im not joking when I say you get a 24 pack of stella through this hoop ! Yet big office near us doesnt take specials/any parcels at all, no matter how small, and dont prep other rounds, just leave when ready !

Lately we've been getting one DoorToDoor a week not the usual three, perhaps because businesses didn't book them because of the likelyhood of strike action.

Re: D2D over XMAS Pressure
Get ready, R M and CWU both want to bring D2D up to 5 a week, I was told that CWU are paid £25 per employee for allowing us to deliver them, if we do 5 a week then you can bet they will earn more.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This is something I was told a couple of years back I never had it confirmed but it makes you wonder as to why CWU are pushing for 5

If it's true it shows things in a very light, paints a very different picture.
No I'm not being paranoid, they really are out to get me.
