Who do you think will win the race in who has sent out the most packets,

It seems at the moment in our office it is play.com, and I will add a few more after ordering some more stuff off them this weekend

Ive noticed HMV on my walk as well recentley, nice letetrbox sized packages straight through no fuss no hassle using fullblown RML end to end and 1st class as well I belive.

i have had 2 packets delivered to me this week from amazon..................both delivered by HOME

if your getting games people, make sure you get them from shopto.net ;) alot of the latest releases there are under £30, whereas play rip off charge people especially if they know its going to sell i.e. cod4 mw2 for £45 :|
delivery is free and they use recorded so they arrive next day for most. even if you order them quite late

If you are buying games then I would suggest http://www.find-games.co.uk/. It searches through a lot of companies and displays the price, P&P & total price.

Play.com seem to have migrated to City Link (which we have to deliver).

I think this time of year Amazon just send the stuff out in the first available van, irrespective of what carrier. Amazon will probably started sending out lots more stuff via special delievery soon. Last year in dorset in our mail centre we would come in for the night shift to find 8-10 yorks of Amazon specials.

I was just thinking this my self,PLay com must have had a bumper xmas ,never seen so many play.com also lots of Amazon,although like you say I thought we had lost the contract.
I think Play .com are the winners ,mostsl small flat packets,Amazons all sorts shapes and Sizes.

Think must be a record year for Packets,plenty of Xmas cards,but definatley more packets than ever!

As far as I know the 'returns' contract with Amazon was lost 18 months ago. Old news.

If you order something and don't want it, when it goes back, although it is through our letterboxes/post offices and sorting offices etc. one of our competitors is the handler if that makes sense.

The smallish items up to the size of a shoe box all still go through RM. Anything over that Amazon use HDNL.

To cut a long story short, your manager is as thick as sh it...
