Wages Slip

Its pay slip day and once again, i have lost out. We have had so many DOMs in our office in the last eight years that I do not where to start or even to finish. Anyway today my wages slip was two hours short. This is nothing new and I expect that I will to have to nag and nag for many weeks to claw it all back, especially like last summer when I was owed over £100.00 in overtime.I eventually got the money I was owed but it seems to be staring all over again. For instance why is there no OT she say.....et available to fill in when you come back from your delivery, you then have to to wait until the following morning to fill it in. Yesterday I got back at 3.45 and asked for the OT sheet but was told by the person in the locker that I could not have it and that I would have to see the DOM tomorrow which is OK, but tomorrow is my day off. It seems that the OT sheets are not put out anymore and that you have to ask for them, gone are the good old days, do you remember the OT sheets in green and white that started all week long for you to fill in, then at the end of the week they were taken down and you got your money, they were the good old days. in
Now I keep a record of every minute that I go over,and at the end of every pay day I go and complain It is a sad state of affairs that it should come to this. I work my hours, I take my meal reliefs, 20mins in the morning and 20mins half- way through my round . Why is it that my round (which is VERY) rural takes from 5 to 5and one half hours to complete, and yet other post people in the same office are home at least 90mins before me. I really like this job but I feel that the people that you work with could,nt give a sh-t as long as they get home and then watch afternoon TV.We all have a place to play in this world. but if the managers cannot speak to the the workers and the workers cannot speak with the managers then what hope have we ever got to fulfill a productive and useful life. And, so, tomorrow I will once again query my OT payments and in due course I will be paid what is owed to me. But, if I did not then RM will make money out of me not bothering to complaim and th

yes we have to book o/t the next morning & go through same thing WHY!!!! then you tell them why you had to go over but at least we do get paid each week. seems to be the norm to try keep costs down any way they can. if you run round get done they love it costs them less but if you do job right you get earache off bosses. just keep doing job how it should be done.

What I failed to notice too was my wage slip, I'd forgotten it was pay day and only realised I hadn't had one until I saw this thread - I did get a slip from the DWP to say I was getting £250 towards my winter fuel bill, I'd forgotten about that too - nice.

the next time your wages are short tell your manager to stick his overtime up his arse and tell him you wont work a minute over until you have been paid the full amount back,it's happened to me to and my wages have been spot on since

Refuse to do the overtime and anyway u think it came out the managers own pocket
