I wouldnt mind i was only going to ask for 3 hrs S/A on the 3 saturdays.

Its ok they will realise the error of there ways once xmas pressure is upon us then i will tell him hes missed the boat.

No arrangements means everyday is a normal working day if they try its in your contract that we can make you work a reasonable amount of O/T, fine as then i will tell the chaps to book 5 minutes over each day that is reasonable.

Im leaving it to the chaps to decide if they want to book normal O/T if they go over through the week.

Our DOM said in mid November that he would start paying Christmas overtime when he sees the Coca Cola lorry on the tele. I've seen it four times.

Thats usually the way in our office, we find out half way through Christmas pressure. Last year it was work as normal, can come in on day off, if you work overtime claim it if not don't. And we only got to work one sunday if we wanted too. Expecting the same this year except they've already started letting people come in this week on their days off.

Our members also got to work their day off at s/a rate...IVO also at s/a...and any pre-booked also at s/a , but at the 11th hour the DSM called our DOM to deny s/a extended delivery. Thus saving a massive 25p an hour....things must be bad..!! I can't believe staff working in one of the most important jobs at this time of the year(2nd only to Santa) are being denied any incentive to work on...!! You can bet your bottom dollar that these DSM's will be on a big pay day once Xmas is over and hailed a success....yet we are the 'grunts' on the frontline doing the hours for as little as RM can get away with...!!!! So much for skipping along hand in hand in-line with the interim agreement and feeling 'valued'....??? So .....back to your question Infidel.....no....we aint signed it off yet,members will decide before the weeks out...!!

If hes not paying O/T get a ruling he can not force you to work past your time.

Obviously your offie has no xmas agreement in place just like mine so every day regardless it being xmas is treated as a normal working day.
