bonuses in offices?

Heard some offices in our area get £60 a month roughly in bonuses some sort of savings bonus? Weve no chance in ours as all the reg duty holders come in on there days off ,wasting money all over the place ! Management asking people to work there days off off weeks ahead even though they dont know if there will be sick absence etc .So on the day there could be 5 or 6 people spare helping people on a walk or just doing asap ,then gettin away really early. No chance of any bonus ,ah well i ll have to make do with the buzz i get from working for the rm.

I get a bonus every month PBS works out about £35 after tax. Never used to get it when I worked in a small office.

Its all a load of bull. Since were a small rural office we get told were linked with our local main office. If they dont make there targets we dont get any bonus. Then they started to make there targets and suddenly were on our own as an independant office which didnt make the targets. When we asked one time about it we just got told that it would be impossible that our office would ever make bonus and thats it. RM make and change the rules to suit them, including your bonus related targets. :cfo

I think our overspend is running at £300,000 and rising.

Not true, I work in a big office and we have never had a dime in bonuses. Obviously clearing the office every day doesn't matter, what we should do is not bother covering duties, then the spend is less and we'll get a share of it. B*gger delivering the mail

Whatever the truth of the situation from unit to unit, I think the only bonus scheme RM want in place by the end of 2010 is the "You've got a job, what more do you want?" bonus scheme - it really is simplicity itself, you do your job this week, and you'll probably keep it next week, and RM hope to have it on a rolling basis, week in, week out.

Don't believe the rumours, RM did away with the 50/50 bonus scheme (last year just after to 2007 P&M) so anyone saying they got a bonus for making savings is telling porkies.

Why do some offices get a monetary value on their overspend and some get a hourly value?

BTW my office has the hourly value which just happens to be the amount of hours they took out in the past 2 years
