one day part timers will have the same right as full timers

Moved into Union Room which is a clue in itself.
What I would do is grab the rep, brief them, and march straight into the gaffers office and ask why. If the response does not suit advise him you may exercise your right to put in a grievance and then do so.

its not good enough , i dont have a rep
and i cant kick up fus cos im on 6 months probation

No local rep then go to the branch and get the area rep involved you are entitled to. To be honest you have reached a point where you, and you alone have to decide how far you are willing to be pushed before you stand up for your rights, only when you do will they treat you seriously. They are using the probation period and lack of Union to bully you and there is always a point where no one can help you except you yourself. The Union can help and guide you but you have to make the first step.

RM have breached your terms and conditions by delibarately not paying you the full hours. Threaten them with breach of contract and visit a employment law specialist. Also put a no confidence regards your manager. Don't back down, it could take a while but i will show rm what sort of company they are running.

There's sticking up for yourself and then there is being a fool. Anyone on the six month trial is in risk of losing their job if they complain too much. Stop doing overtime and they cant rob you. After six months you'll be more secure.

As you've already said in another thread that you think you would be better off on the dole,
you might as well make an issue of it. If they terminate your contract as a result, at least
you will (I think) be able to get JSA again. If you resign you will be disqualified for 6 months.

6 weeks for me when I walked out of my last job, mind you I did explain why - I was getting £150 a week take home but was paying £40 in travelling expenses - I just could not afford it after rent etc I had about £20 a week for groceries. It was 6 weeks for me too when I left my last job - but that was almost 30 years ago,
and the period you can be penalised for voluntarily becoming unemployed was increased
by the last Conservative Goverrment to 26 weeks. But it seems from your experience that
the DSS will take circumstances into account.

Not sure what your office/managers are like but the above is very good advice indeed! You can put a grievence in after trying to sort it informally however you could put yourself on their radar!
