Anyone tell me what we're getting off at Xmas and New Year?
Xmas obviously the Friday so we have Boxing day off and my understanding is we will have the Monday as well (28th).
However the next week when New Years Day is the Friday, Scotland always has the 2nd as well. The rumour here is that they are giving us the Monday (4th) but making us work the 2nd despite it being a Scottish national holiday.
Sounds a bit confusing, I know, but anyone shed any light?

I'm in Scotland as well, we were told yesterday we are NOT getting the 4th off. The assumption was that because Public Holidays can't fall on a Saturday we'd get extra day off - but not so. Rest of country BTW on Saturday 2nd.

They are *bank holidays* ( this year, the days that ain't Boxing and Xmas day! ) .. NUff Said! lol why does this keep coming up. We get 4 days off.
