Is Sat Jan 02-2010 a normal working day day.Whilst their will be little first class ,proably be hammered with loads of 2nd class and sky mags or something.

As far as i've been told (by our rep). We do get the full weekend off at Christmas Friday to Monday (Officialy given in leiu of Boxing Day falling on the Saturday) and the Friday and Saturday at New Year as it's one of our holidays The rest of the country gets that later in the year.

Question relating to the New Year holiday in Scotland..

Is Monday the 4th not one of the nine statuatory Bank Holidays in Scotland? In essence this would seem to me to indicate that Saturday the 2nd should actually be a non service day as we saw at Xmas. The Xmas agrreement seems to only be in line with the English Holidays.

So are we in or out and if we are in when do we get the missing day back for the lost Monday?

Monday the 4th is a working day including scotland.

GMC is in on mon. 4th but we get a day in lieu for sat.2nd ........this is scotland falling in line with england me thinks
