Quite simply how many boxes of mail do you roughly get on a normal day not your busiest? I'm getting 5-6 boxes of letters, which lately are packed in bloody tight these days then about 6 boxes of flats. I'm thinking this is quite a lot or do you get more? Even Tuesdays is becoming an overtime day more and more. We keep getting told that the big offices moan if they get over 3 boxes of letters. But we suspect everyone gets more than that these days.

Id usually get 4-5 boxes of letters 4 boxes of flats and 2packet bags, thats enough for me! And thats 3drop bags and a full trolley!

Im usually on about 5 grossely overweight bags but since they wont supply us with scales there is nothing we can argue with on the weights.

i have two full drop bags of pkts normally this is after excluding the oversize stuff which goes out separate.
a least 4/5 trays of flats.
letters? i dont know as i bring them back in lots of trips gives me a chance to check up on packets which are usually last to finish.
ill maybe keep an acurate count this week.
I'd guess on average about 1.5 times the length of the frame in letters (5 trays?) and 3 or 4 trays of flats with 1 and a half rough sacks (one usually catalogues)
I've been prep tested a couple of time now and they reckon about 1200 to 1800 items.
If I'm lucky I get 1 tray, that's right, only one! Of course I also get 5/6 armfuls of mail (letters and flats) by the time I've cleared in the IPS for the last time. 2 or 3 bags of packets is the norm for my round. This modernisation is really noticeable in my office, some days our MC send down about 4/5 mech bundles and the rest all loose, so it's everyone up on the sorting. Can't wait till it's all walk sorted, we'll be going out with Monday's mail on Tuesday at this rate.

6 pre sorted trays on a light day and up to 10 on a normal/heavy day plus, 2/3 of loose letters then about 8/10 trays of flats and usually 3/4 bags of packets That's not to mention the bulk packets which one day last week was a complete york so that day the van fill was 3 yorks instead of the usually 2
PS. All this is supposed to be prepped up, bundled and loaded into the van in 90 minutes

I find it hard to believe all that would fit in 5 bags, more like 10 bags
I personally think my office is lucky at the moment, we get about 3 trays of mail, about 2 boxes of flats, and a full bag of packets, this is proof that some offices are luckily than others, but as it pointed out, this s**t we been hearing about, is coming to us all

You must be a firms delivery.
Normally i get 3.5 to 4 mech boxes of letters plus what we sort on ips which all told most days total about 1.5 length of the frame.
Flats is a stack waist high from the floor. Packets is normally 1-1.5 dropbags then about 8 or so overweights.
I must ave between 5-8 reg abd about the same rec if not a few more. Mind you saying that i had 9 reg and 11 rec on monday.

2 trays of mail (3 on a REALLY heavy day) plus the hand sorted letters, 1 - 1.5 trays of flats. Never more than 1 bag of packets. Well there was once when I got 6 full of lightbulbs.
